Access the Meals Section

Login to the Child Friendly app:

  1. Click the Dashboard icon - the first icon on the lefthand side.

      2.   Select the Meals tab at the top.

The Meals tab displays a list of children with food restrictions.

The Prohibited Meal Types shows the type of meals the child is not allowed to have i.e. Eggs, Beef. On days their daycare group is being served a meal with any of these prohibited items in it, the kitchen or check knows that the child needs to be served an alternative meal.

NOTE: Prohibited Meal Types must first be set up in Setup>Center>Customizations. Only those with admin privileges can access the Setup module.

Filter by Group

You can easily filter the Meals section by group, which lets you view prohibited meals only for the children in your group. To filter by group:

  1. Select the Group drop-down arrow.

      2.   Click your preferred group.

The list will then display only children in the selected group, with a list of prohibited food types on the right-hand side.

Filter by Meal Type

You can also filter by meal type.

  1. Click the drop-down arrow beside Prohibited Meal Types.

  1. Select the meal type you want to filter for.

The screen will show a list of only children with the selected food allergy or preference. The number of children prohibited from having the particular meal or food type will also display in the top right.
